The magazine publisher today announced the launch of its Health Initiative, an agreement between the editors of Vogue’s 19 international editions designed to “encourage a healthier approach to body image within the industry,” Condé Nast International said, adding that: “Vogue is uniquely placed to engage with relevant issues in order to make a difference.”

Will Cotton’s new exhibition of paintings and sculpture opens today at the Mary Boone Gallery in Manhattan. The collection includes this painting, “Crown,” which depicts Katy Perry as what the artist calls “the reluctant queen of an imagined Utopia.” The show will be up through June 30th. (via nycartscene)

Christian Dior has named Raf Simons its next couturier, and said he would unveil his first collection for the house during Paris Couture Week in July.
